This map is a companion to the Terralingua-UNESCO-WWF educational booklet Sharing a World of Difference.

The map shows the overlapping geographic distribution of the world’s ecosystems and the world’s languages (a proxy for the world’s ethnolinguistic groups). It also highlights the worldwide distribution of highly threatened languages and highly threatened ecoregions.

This full-color poster, along with the booklet, makes for a useful tool for anyone interested in learning or teaching about the interconnected diversity of life in nature and culture.
